Tulsa Glassblowing School

The First Responders program is a free class designed specifically for first responders in the Tulsa area, TPD, TFD, and EMSA. In this class we tailor the program to the needs of each group of participants. Classes range from 1 to 3 week beginner classes depending on the availability of the participants. Students learn basic teqniques, from gathering glass to basic blowing. The class allows individuals to work with others who have shared similar experiences. Glassblowing incorporates the use of dangerous materials forcing mindfulness and attention to safety during the process of manipulating the molten glass. The course is a fast paced and fun program allowing first responders to work togther to learn this unique artform.
