Founding Artistic Director, Sarah Diggdon is an exceptional glassblowing artist, teacher, and Founding Artistic Director of Tulsa Glassblowing Studio, a non-profit hot glass studio and school. Sarah learned to work with glass at the Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina and at the Corning Institute in Corning, New York, where she studied under renowned glass artisan Bill Gudenrath.
The Arts & Humanities Council recognized Sarah’s artistic contributions by awarding her with the Jingle Feldman Award in 2004. She is a member of the Glass Arts Society and the Brady Village Arts District Council. While her central focus is glass, Sarah is also an accomplished artist in pottery, beadwork and torchwork.
Tulsa Glassblowing Studio is proud to offer our advanced students the opportunity to assist Sarah in teaching our educational experiences.
